Haute Route Chamonix – Zermatt is the famous long distance  hiking trail over the Alps witch is connecting the capital of mountaineering  – Chamonix Mont Blanc to the other Zermatt , Matterhorn.

The name of Hiking Houte route is referred to the Classic Haute Route . This Classic route is the ski or mountaineering route across glaciers, taking a line generally to the South of the Walker’s Haute Route
